Digital confidence

The digital confidence assessment is designed to help you improve your basic digital skills and understanding.

This means:

  • The basic operation of your devices and systems
  • Using technology to communicate, collaborate, and share information
  • Handling information safely and securely
  • Using digital services and tools to get work done
  • Using technology to help solve problems
  • Core concepts of digital transformation

The assessment takes around 15 minutes to complete, and is made up of 27 simple multiple choice questions.

What happens next?

Once you have completed your assessment, you will be taken to your results page. You’ll also be sent this by email.

Your results will break down your scores in each area. They also provide links to carefully curated free online learning resources – such as courses, videos, and articles – that will help you improve your confidence.

You can use our provided template to create your own bespoke digital learning plan, and then retake the assessment to see how you have improved!

Across the whole Council, everyone’s results are anonymised and visualised, so we can get an accurate picture of how we are improving across the board!
